My name is Dominic Civitano, I am 15 years old.I live in Stamford Connecticut. I have 2 younger brothers, ages 10 and 5. I attend Westhill high school, and am currently taking all honors levels classes.
I started playing hockey when I was 7 years old for the Westchester vipers travel team. Currently I play for the CT jr rangers 16 u team. Last season I was first in goals and points. I led my team in face-off wins last year and its become one of the abilities I am becoming more and more known for.
In addition to playing hockey, I also want to better understand the game. Last year I became and referee and just recently passed my level TWO reffing course. I ref several games a weekend and I feel it has definitely helped in my understanding of the game as well as the way I see the ice, when I play.
One of my favorite hobbies is fishing, and last summer I worked on a charter fishing boat as a mate. During the summer when I am not working or practicing hockey I enjoy sailing in my a sunfish sail boat.
I would love to eventually play division 1 hockey. I am not sure what my area of studies will be yet, but have always been interested in architecture, and working with my hands.
