I have been playing golf since I was 2 years old. My father was the one who really introduced me to the game. He motivated me to practice and helped me along the way. He also taught me to love the game, and embrace the highs and lows it has. Playing golf in college would allow me to show my talents to a broader range of people. College golf is a high level of competition, and I would like the opportunity to be able to put my game to the test at that level.
I am a contributor and playing in the number 1 and 2 position on the varsity has put me in the position to know that I have to put forth my best effort at all the time. I get along with everyone, and I am a 100% team player. I am teachable, never turning down advice from coaches about how to improve my game. I have consistently been a hard worker in my endeavors and strive to be excellent.
Grades are very important in my high school life, and I work extremely hard in the class room to achieve good grades and improve my overall knowledge about subjects. As well, I am an active member of many after school clubs, such as the Eco Club and Food Pantry Club.
I want to go to a college that provides a good academic and golf environment for me to succeed thoroughly in all categories. I am open to all colleges that fit me best, and hope to find the one that will allow me to compete at a high level of golf and provide a good academic challenge for me. I will prove that I am the best fit for your school.
