Family has influenced my love of sports and taught me the spirit of competition. I have played multiple sports since the age of five. I decided basketball was my passion around third grade. I have worked hard on improving all of my skills throughout the years by going to camps and playing on multiple teams. I have learned the value of friendship and being a team player. I feel I am a leader on and off the court.
My academics have always been a top priority and I have always excelled in the classroom. I struggled in my freshman year both academically and physically due to being diagnosed with mono halfway through our basketball season. This was both a struggle for me mentally and physically. This obstacle has made me become more focused for my sophomore year to improve my GPA and work harder on the court.
I believe I have the talent to compete at the next level. I believe I have the work ethic and leadership skills to make an impact on your program.
