I'm a 6'1" point guard from Hutchinson, KS. I was a starter on my freshman team at Buhler High School and played JV. I averaged six quarters on game night between freshman and JV. I have been playing MAYB(Mid American Youth Basketball) since I was in the second grade.
I feel I'm very coachable both on and off the court. I tend to push the ball down the court quickly. I'm able to read the court and can make quick passes or take it straight to the hoop. I average greater than 6 assists, 6 to 7 rebounds and 4 to 6 steals per game.
I like to stay after practice and work on my shot. Not only do I have the drive to go on and play basketball at the next level but I also do some community service. I help my mom coach my older brother's Special Olympics basketball team. He has Down Syndrome. By helping others has helped me become a more well rounded person.
Currently, I'm interested in the Midwest and Central areas for college but still keeping an open mind towards my options that may arise. No specific major yet but maybe communications technology or coaching. I have a GPA of 2.86. Not only do I want to be able to play basketball at the next level but contribute to the best of my ability and get an education along the way.
I have been playing with the varsity this summer and will be during the season for my sophomore year.
