Tommy Craven '21 Recruiting Profile

If you were to ask my former coaches to agree on a statement that defines me as an athlete, I am confident they would reply by saying, "Tommy is a well-rounded team player."  I pride myself on being a positive leader that uses my strengths to improve the level of play in teammates around me in order to get a win...

I'm the type of kid who doesn't run away from a challenge.  Prior to games,  I assign myself the best player on the opposing team.  After aggressively defending, I turn around and direct our team's offensive sets.  I literally have the mindset of "leaving it all on the court" -Each and every time.

My passion and love for the game is only superseded by the guidance of my moral compass and family.  I feel humility,  character, and academic rigor will be the core to my successes, on and off the court.  Being raised in a loving Chicago, suburban family has also taught me to value faith, commitment, and strong work ethics. 

I have been fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to play competitive basketball since Grade School.  This fall, I will be competing with H.I.T., a Chicago area AAU team.
