Maurice Evans '21 Recruiting Profile

Hi to all NCAA coaches who sees my profile. My goal is to become the best basketball player that God said I can be. I am a player who can focus on the court and focus on my school work at the same time. What's makes me different from other recruits in character is I don't except not trying. I will motivate my teammates to always work hard even when your tired. I'm also honest with them too. I won't sugarcoat anything unless I know you pour your heart out everytime to play on the court with me. In athletics, I bring my heart and soul with me. I'm not a selfish player but if you need a score, I will take over the game if I have to, to make sure we win. I will always look to get my team involve as well. I won't just give u my strengths either. My weakness is my strength. I'm tall and lanky but I will still try to bang with the bigger players. My defense isn't that great either. I can block, steal, and run a zone but it's not always consistent. On my academics, I'm not a jock. I make sure my grades stay up inside the A's and b's category and my parents don't accept anything below a B. I can be very silly at times but I always know when it's time to shut down and do what I have to do to keep my grades in check.
