Personal Statement

I started playing basketball when I was in 2nd grade. With all this experience behind me I have become a varsity athlete and voted most improved player frosh/soph years. I earned numerous team awards junior year including most points, highest shooting percentage, most valuable player and MVP All- conference.
I have maintained high honors academically while playing basketball year round. This is a huge accomplishment for me because grades are very important and I hope that with my good grades I can get into a prestigious college. School size does not matter to me as long as they have a good basketball team and are known for high academics. The major I'm looking into is in the medical field, primarily physical therapy. My goals are to finish strong with my HS varsity team, make the All-Conference Team again as well as the All-State team, and to play at a prominent college while earning my degree.
