Austin Ford '23 Recruiting Profile

From the moment I stepped on to the park district basketball court at the age of five, I fell in love with the game of basketball.  It's my goal to play basketball at a college level along with creating an opportunity inside the classroom to be able to learn sports marketing or management so I can be a coach or assist in coaching in my future.  I want to make a difference in more than my own career I want to be able to guide other athletes to succeed as well.  Not only do I strive to be a good player, I strive at being the athlete that coaches like to coach and being a good teammate.  I attentively listen and work on the skills being asked of me.  There is not a day that goes by that I'm not practicing my dribbling, shooting or watching film of professional ball players.  I also like to help younger players learn their position and develop their game by being a positive role model and team player. 

I'm a strong student and maintain A's & B's in the classroom.  Currently I'm enrolled in two honors classes this year (sophomore) and I currently have a cumulative GPA of 3.48
