Maxwell Freishtat '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Max Freishtat and I am a 15 year old freshman at Sidwell Friends School in Washington D.C. My goals throughout the remainder of my high school career and my college career are to continue to grow in all aspects of my life, as well as develop into the best basketball player I am able to become. Whether it is academics, basketball, social life, or in my family, I will continue to become the best person I can be. One thing that separates me from others is my work ethic. I always put my all into everything that I do no matter what it is. I do not let outside factors effect the effort I put into anything. Academically, I know that without good grades I cannot achieve my goals. By knowing this, schoolwork always takes precedence over athletics and social events. Athletically, the only way I can develop as a player is by putting in the work, and I truly believe that hard work does pay off in the long run.  I hope that with the help of coaches and mentors around me, I can fulfill my dreams and aspirations to play in the NBA one day.
