My goal in college is too step up like my other siblings who have went to college to play a sport. My oldest sibling Talia is the one who inspires me most, She got a full ride to Penn State for basketball, she was really good and was really popular on the campus. When my parents would go up to her games and I would go and the experience was amazing, It made me want to go to college. I feel like I would be a good candidate for a team because all I want to do is get better at something that I now love, My siblings would always tell me that you can always get better in any sport. Even if you think you're the best at what you do, trust me your not. And this drives me to do better at what I do, I dont like to be satisfied with ok or good I want to be great. Even though a coach or parent might say that I had an amazing game, I still know I could've done better. Although that might make me seem like im a downer, im not I just dont like feeling like im getting cocky. Something that would make me different from other recruits is that I try my best even though I know things might not go my way, if thats for sports, grade, or even me trying to be well mannered, i will still try my best. Not everyone is gonna treat me like im the best or that if they like me, but I will still treat them the same as if they were my friend. In sports last year people would talk down to me trying to put me down, I didnt really care they would come at how its my first year of football ever and that im just starting in highschool makes it so im already far behind. So I just decided to research and rep everything so that when its my time I could do it the best I could. People would come at me saying that im too small to play on the O-line and D-line, that good Linemen have some weight to them and they arnt skinny I was 6"3' 157 at the time. I dealt with hearing that from people and after my freshman season I went to the weight room when ever I could. Would that be 7th period study halls or 8 on wed when school starts at 9 you would catch me in the weight room. I increased my calorie count and used protein after everytime I lifted, starting this season I had gained 21 pounds. Even though I will still get messed with by anyone who asks what positon I play, I know that I have gotten bigger and I see the difference from last year to this year. What makes me different is that I will take something that is meant to put me down, to make me better.
