Personal Statement
I have loved football ever since my first Penn State University game when I was 3 years old. In 8th grade I became a manager for my high school football team and learned as much as I could about our offense. During that time I was taking reps during the off season and lifting with the team.
Being a part of the football team chisels leadership skills, confidence in myself and stepping up to do what I need to do. My freshman year of football, I invested long hours figuring out how to read a defense and understand it. I am currently studying a lot of football guidebooks so I can become better in this area. Football has taught me the importance of being on a team and what it means to be a part of a band of brothers.
I am driven to give my best. I love a challenge and overcoming that challenge. I keep a strong dedication to the things that are important and will affect my life. I am passionate about weight training. This is one direction in my life that I believe I can help others in and reason why I am pursuing the sports world as a career.
My goal is to play on a competitive college football team and pursue a degree in sports management.

- This physically demanding and competitive camp is specifically designed for high school underclassmen that are serious about raising their skills in preparation for playing football beyond high school. Under the direction of Head Coach James Franklin and the entire Penn State football staff, the focus of the Underclass Showcase Camp is placed on position-specific skill and technique development. This no-pad, no-helmet, one-day camp features instruction in all offensive and defensive positions. Campers receive professional instruction of football fundamentals, skills and techniques. Campers will compete against each other in one-on-one drills allowing each camper the opportunity to transfer individual skills taught in the camp to simulated game-play experiences.
