Starting varsity football was always one of my dreams, I went to a lot of games when I was young and I was so excited thinking about playing under the Friday night lights. One of my goals as a sophomore was to start varsity and I'm so happy I achieved it. I played High school JV as a freshman along with my 9th grade team. I was also able to play some varsity as a freshman, but was limited to how many games I could play. A close friend of mine and I worked all through the start of middle school (5th grade) to beat out the competition. We always pushed each other to our hardest and we were determined to start varsity football as sophomores. I've always loved football, and many other sports. Growing up I played football, soccer, baseball, basketball, cross country, and track. I always enjoyed these sports but I've chose to spend most of my time on football and track because that's what I enjoy the most.
I love being with my teammates and learning their playing style or learning a new blitz or play type, it just brings a new challenge and I enjoy it. Playing a new team each week and learning how to react to their offense is just something I really enjoy. I love playing football and just being out there on the field just the feel of it all encourages me to win and to help my team the best I can on and off the field to win and have fun.
