Troy Taylor '21 Recruiting Profile

Early in my life I fell in love with playing all types of sports.  As I got older this love has grown into a passion for competition.  My competitive attitude continues to develop in me, I constantly compete and strive to achieve perfection.  In recent years, I have enjoyed facing tough competition, however, I recognize my toughest competition is myself.

As I continue to play football and baseball I have been fortunate enough to play in two programs that encourages commitment, hard work and discipline on the playing field and in the classroom.  Through my experiences, I have learned what it means to be a part of a team and what is required to be a leader and to be successful.  As a two-sport athlete, I continually work on being a positive leader that my teammates can count on.  I believe these traits will continue to develop with me as a player and as a person throughout my life time. 

As I consider my future I’m looking for a college and program that will continue to develop me academically and athletically, while challenging me to achieve my goals and dreams.  I want to take my skills and talents that I have developed through sports and life to prepare me for my road after college.  I  know my success will come from hard work and a work ethic second to none. 

Through these traits and characteristics, I believe that I will be able to provide an immediate impact on your program. I look forward to the college experience as a student athlete.
