Jonathan Cabral-Martin '19 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coaches,  

My sophomore season on varsity ended short due to a minor injury (ankle) but I am looking to make a full come back stronger and faster than before. I consider myself an all around player whether that is defense or offense I will contribute!! I am a confident player because of the work I put in behind close doors. I can compete with the elites and will simply out work my competition. I can fit into all schemes and watch film on my opponents like its TV. 

I aspire to play at the collegiate level one day and most importantly contribute in a major way. I realize that anybody could talk about it and many do, but what makes me different is my persistent and consistent actions on and off the field just as the inspirational speaker Eric Thomas would say "all athletes are the same, some just work harder in the preseason" and thats my motto. Some of my key traits I hear from others is being coachable,  high motor, aggressive and a natural born leader. I put the team before statistics and always accept accountability for my actions. I have always been seen as a captain from my peers and coaches and I expect to keep that streak going. I always aim to better my teammates and never get comfortable with 99% I always strive for 100% on/off the field and in the books...
