If you asked me who has had the biggest influence on my life, I would say my parents and my brothers, Robert and Christian. Besides being my biggest fans, they encourage and challenge me to be the best person I can be. They constantly remind me to consistently give 110 percent of myself in school, football and in all I do in life. I became interested in football at a young age and from the first full pad practice in second grade, I have loved it! Football has taught me a great deal about myself too. I am always first on the field and the last off. Whether it is to help put the equipment out/away or getting in extra sprints, I want to improve and I value the team. My academic goals for high school is to strive for at least a 3.0 GPA. As of now, I am sure what I want to study in college, but I do want to have academic success and know I want to play football in college. An obstacle that has challenged me through the years is always being the small guy. It doesn't matter if I am good or not, scouts and coaches overlook me because of this and do not watch me play. I had the opportunity over the last three years to attend Football University Camps. The second year I participated, I thought I had a great camp, despite the other players being bigger and taller then me. The position coach I worked with, David Hack, choose me to represent New Jersey in the Football University end of the year Top Gun Camp. This camp in South Carolina is where the best players at each individual position will get to compete against the best of the best in the country. It was an honor being chosen as I had the opportunity to showcase my skills against great competition and be seen by many scouts throughout the country. After attending and having a pretty good camp I thought to myself, "if I put in the work in school and train really hard, who knows what can happen!" Like my dad always tells me," Heart over Height". I have the heart, getting there with the height and love what I am doing!
