Alexis Palumbo '21 Recruiting Profile

My goal for college is to have a positive experience both academically and athletically. For college, I am interested in divisions 1,2 and 3. I hope to receive a degree in law, pharmaceutical, business, or mathematics. I am looking forward to playing collegiate softball with players with the same passion and commitment as me. I feel I differ from other athletes because I not only strive athletically to be the best but also academically. I push myself daily to strive to obtain the highest grades. I work not only mentally and physically, but also spiritually by giving back to the community on a weekly basis, by volunteering at nursing homes. Attending catholic school has prepared me both mentally and spiritually while softball has prepared me physically and mentally. I am a student athlete. I have many qualities that make me different from other recruits. I am hardworking, driven and committed. I always give 120% every second of the game. I am very organized and prioritize well on and off the field. I don't dwell on the negatives and always take responsibility for my actions. I am very competitive and always strive to be the best. I am a team player, always looking after my teammates. Academically, I possess all of the same qualities. I have maintained an A average in all academic subjects for the past 3 years. I believe academics always come before softball. I always ask questions and raise my hand. I take good notes and am very attentive in class. This is what makes me different from other student athletes. Thank you coach for taking the time to learn about me.
