Becoming the starting quarterback for my high school as a freshman has been the highlight of my athletic career. This showed me how my hard work and dedication helped me to become successful in athletics and in life. The experience of high school football has shaped me into the person I have become. It has taught me leadership, coachability, perseverance, and accountability. The presence of football in my life has shifted my personal goals to becoming a successful quarterback at the collegiate level.
I have been fortunate enough to have a great family who is always motivating and teaching me the skills I need to be successful. My parents are constantly pushing me to be a better person on the field, in the classroom, and more importantly in society. Having a sister with disabilities has made me mentally stronger than anyone I know. My skills on the field directly relate to my skills in the classroom. My academic goals are to remain a 4.0 student throughout high school and score high on the SAT and ACT. I’m looking forward to joining a program where I will fit athletically and academically. I believe that I poses the skills to make an instant impact on your program and team.
