I want to be proactive in promoting my athletic skills now because playing college football has been a strong desire of mine for many years. College will help me seize the opportunity to play a sport loved by millions as I strive to reach my future academic goal of becoming a computer hardware engineer. I tackle challenges on and off the field by not “stressing out.” Adapting quickly to any situation is one quality that I do possess. However, my best quality in regard to sports would be my ability to drive my team toward success. Players have different personalities and different points of view. Showing respect for others is the key to accomplishing any common goal. Just by watching the news, I have come to realize that we live in a dangerous world, but when your team runs onto the gridiron, the excitement of the game wipes away these worries, and all you see is a stadium full of loyal, cheering fans who believe they know more than the coach! I will not be afraid to take risks. I will not wait for a miracle to knock at my door. However, I will carry a vision of a positive future, and I will be willing to work hard to achieve it.
