I started in flag when I was 3. After a season of tackle at age 7, I chose soccer over football because I was excelling in soccer at the time. After we moved to Michigan at age 9, the timing with soccer and football still didn't work. When I started high school I talked to both the soccer and football coaches and got approval to play both sports in the same season. It was the perfect fit, in fact, to be the kicker. We finished 7-2. In the first game I set a school record by hitting 7 point after kicks in a single game. I finished 34/35 in point after kicks and 2/2 in field goals (19 yards and 29 yards). I also do kick-offs and have had 2 tackles on returns. I am having a blast and can't wait to see where our team can go. I have decided to give up basketball which I've done since I was five in order to avoid any injuries and give me time to get in the gym while still being able to attend practices for club soccer. I am attending my first Sailer Kicker Camp in December. I hope to be able to juggle club soccer and high school golf in the spring as well. Of course grades come first. I currently have a 3.5.
