Over the next three years of my high school career, I hope to continue to grow both academically and athletically. I want to use these years to soak up all of the knowledge I can so I am prepared to succeed in college. Also, I want to continue to improve my skills on the football field by learning from the coaches I have, as well as from the older, more experienced players.
Helping to drive my team forward is another goal that I have in place. I believe we all play an essential role and helping my teammates reach their potential is important. As a team captain, I have had to learn how to deal with many situations. I have been a motivator, peacemaker, and counselor. I don’t know if I have done everything the right way, but I do know that I want to become better so I can help those around me be better, too.
I am looking forward to my college years where I can continue to grow. My goal is to major in finance and I feel the disciple needed to succeed in football will help me achieve it. On the football field, I plan to be a pivotal player and also a team leader. Throughout my college football career, I will strive to be an asset to the team as a quarterback. Just as important is my behavior off the field. I will continue to conduct myself in a respectful manner and do nothing to harm my school, my teammates, or my coaches.
