Personal Statement

I have been blessed to grow up in a blended family with three other siblings.  Due to that, I have learned how to lead by example.  As a result, I bring that servant leadership and trailblazing ability to the football field, as well as in the classroom.  By far the strongest asset that I bring to any teams is my work ethic.  I am enriched through competition, and in everything I do, I give it my all!

I fell in love with the game of football in the third grade. I was instantly attracted to the character that is brought out in one when they strive, with their brothers, to achieve a common goal.  Ultimately, football has gifted me with experiences and challenges that have taught me to persevere, work hard...and have fun doing it!  Being a two time team MVP and varsity team captain as a freshman have been two major highlights of my football career thus far.

Now that I am in high school, I have crossed a bridge to a new step in my journey.  Throughout this process, I have overcome when people have pre-judged my abilities.  However, through my faith, I know that my heart, character, and work ethic are what defines my skill set.  Resultantly, I am more than ready and excited to help my team succeed while maintaining my 4.0 GPA and graduating high school with top honors.  As a multi-sport athlete, team captain, and two time MVP, I am confident that I have what it takes to be a valuable team player in your organization.
