Personal Statement

My goal is to be the first of my family to go to college. I want to have a future in marine biology and, engineering , but I do not only want to study those topic's teaching would also be something that would interest me. I want to continue to play football after high school. What makes me a good candidate for any team is that I'm a good leader, a good teammate, and I am reliable. What makes me different from other recruits is that everything I have, is earned through hard work. I have been using the motto "Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard" since I was about 7 years old. I am a scholar athlete I always have at least a 3.5 GPA, and I never stop trying to better myself in Sports, School, being a better person. I play rugby for a high school club team on varsity as a starter. Like I said hard work is something I embrace. Looking for a challenge is something that drives me me through each and, every day.

Awards2016 I was accepted to the Poseidon academy( the study of sea science and,marine science. The academy is considered a school with in a school. Requirements are to take a science class every year through your senior year. Also Engineering is part of the curriculum. I am Currently in the 2nd year of the academy and, looking forward to a great challenge that awaits ahead.
Activitiesparticipated in the relay for life over night event held at Mar Vista high school in the city of Imperial beach sponsored by the American cancer society.
