My name is Kolbe Stuckwisch a 15 year old Sophomore at Gilbert High School. My aspiration is to go to a university where I can get an excellent education and complete my bachelors degree in Astrophysics, while also having the privilege to play football at the collegiate level. My goal is to excel in the classroom, as well as on the football field. My freshman year included achieving all A's in my courses, a productive freshman year on the freshman football team and ongoing strength and agility training during my off-season. This coming year will potentially hold playing time as a Center for both the Varsity and JV squads. I look to continue receiving high marks in all of my Honors and AP courses, so that my goal of getting accepted into a university, due to my grades and football playing ability, becomes realized. While grades and football are important to me, the quality of how I treat others and approach life is what makes me approach every challenge I face differently. I know that it takes strength to get through every challenge, but it also requires humility and a desire to overcome or transform. I know in life that I can't do anything out of fear or be afraid to fail, because it causes me to "play small". My mantra is "Everything I want is on the other side of fear, so work hard". I work hard at every task I am given, but I am also compassionate to others. I volunteer at my church with the 4 year olds and know that as a role model to them, I want them to see that it is good to be both strong and caring at the same time. While I know that there are many recruits for coaches to consider, I hope to be a great candidate for a team to recruit because of the heart, drive and passion I carry for everything that I do in life.
