Jordan-Alexander Pace '16 Recruiting Profile

I am a year round athlete.  I play football, wrestling, run track, and soccer.  Winning is in my blood, not only in athletics, but in academics and in life.  I understand full well that not all athletes will be fortunate enough to play for a  Division I program, however, I have the heart, work ethic, and the skills to overcome any obstacle set before me.  I didn't take my grades seriously early in my education, but to show that I am fighting back, I've brought my cumulative GPA back to a 3.0, I am currently taking two advanced placement(AP) classes and I have successfully passed AP Biology.  If you do decide to contact my coaches, they will verify that I am not only a competitor, but a motivator that pushes my team to reach for excellence, I show up early and I leave late.

Throughout my school career, I was fortunate to participate in several volunteer opportunities to include interaction at the senior citizen center, part of the PACE program that built a windmill to offset energy cost, and part of a peer leadership group.  However, what has humbled me was participating in a football camp, where majority of the kids only had old and dilapidated gear.  I believe all kids should have safe and functioning equipment to play in the sport they love.

My collegiate goal is to play sports for a college in order to become a psychiatrist, a pediatric or sports psychiatrist, so that I can give to those less fortunate than I am.  I love the game of football and I love my education, I will do anything to help either my team, or my classmates succeed.  If you want a dedicated athlete with integrity and leadership skills in your program, please contact me.  Thank you for taking the time to review my profile.
