Hi! My name is Isabella. I also go by "Bella" and "BB". "BB" is the nickname my team has given me! I have been playing field hockey since I was eight years old. I started as a defender, but my coach recognized that I had goalie tendencies and asked if I wanted to try playing that position. I have been in the cage ever since, and I love it!
I maintain a nice balance of hobbies, friends, school, practice, and games. When I am not playing field hockey, I can usually be found riding horses, playing with my dog that I rescued, or spending time with my family and friends. I enjoy staying busy! I have both long term and short term goals that I’d like to accomplish. Short term, I would love to move further up in Futures, moving on to the next level. This past year I was selected as an alternate for the National Futures Championship. I hope next year to be selected to play in the championship. Long term, I would love to attend a college where I could be successful both academically and athletically. I would love to be an Orthopedic Surgeon someday and helping younger athletes recover from injuries, or a Veterinarian. I love spending time and working with animals, especially horses. I also love school and learning, and some of my favorite classes are Science and Math. I aspire to play at the collegiate level, and I hope to find a school that is both a great match for me and vice versa.
My team members and I are not only friends on the field, we love hanging out and being great friends off the field. They are a second family to me, and I hope to find that in the team I play for in college. I am a very hard working player both in games and practice. I play for both my club team and middle school team. I love playing the game, and will play any opportunity that I can get. I always encourage my teammates, and we have a strong trust with each other. We know we can count on each other. We are a team!
