I love what I do as a goalkeeper, and it is very much a part of who I am. The experiences that I have had to travel, train with amazing professionals and learn how dynamic I can be in the cage are why I want to play in college. During these past 4 years as a goalkeeper, and the 3 years before that as a field player, I have learned not only a mental toughness, but also how to be a leader on and off of the field. Playing field hockey makes me a better person. On the field, I have absolute knowledge of the surroundings, a high field hockey IQ, and an ability to talk to my team and support them through the game.
I work hard at Field Hockey and try one-hundred percent of the time to be the best I can be while I am playing. Although I am U14, I play up to U16 and play with U19's, and hold my own against the older girls. I am social and I also do volunteer work in the time I am not studying, playing Field Hockey, playin Softball, Swimming, and playing Saxophone in marching band. I love to help my community and I recently helped design and create a mural at school. I love playing Field Hockey and would love to get the chance to play in college.
