Karissa Hough '20 Recruiting Profile

I have played a variety of different sports over the years, but field hockey has become my passion. My first experience of field hockey in fifth grade fascinated me, and I instantly desired to play in seventh grade. From that point on, I have played field hockey year round and attended numerous camps to improve my skills: all the while maintaining a 4.0 GPA. I would like to continue playing field hockey in college because it offers me an escape from my stress and I genuinely love the game. Additionally, I possess several attributes such as a hard work ethic, a positive attitude, and coachability that make me a great player for any team. Throughout college, I aspire to see myself grow as a player and become a phenomenal player like the ones I look up to now.
