Hello Coaches,
My name is Sophia Giangreco, I am a Freshman at Perkiomen Valley High School in Collegeville Pennsylvania. Collegeville is located in Southeastern Pennsylvania. I play High School Basketball, Lacrosse and Field Hockey. Through the years, playing sports has been very rewarding for me. Most rewarding has been Field Hockey. If given the chance, I would love the opertunity to play Field Hockey in College.
Playing Field Hockey has always presented new and exciting experiences for me like keeping mentally and physically fit, learning new skills, winning and losing games. Whether a championship game or simply making new friends, these experiences have taught me a great deal. Throughout my experiences, I have come to realize that I find a great amount of joy in learning and applying these new skills and learned experiences not just in games or drills but even off the field.
I would appreciate the opportunity to keep learning and advancing my skills into and throughout my college years. Not only do I strive to succeed on the field, my commitment and passion to success in the classroom is paramount to me as well. I like to think in order to make the most of all your years in school, a student should take advantage of all opportunities given to them like sports, clubs, volunteering. These opportunities are a great way to express their school spirit too!
If students makes the choice to get involved in these opportunities, they'll have the privilege to embrace and create memories that will last a lifetime. It's a rewarding experience definitely worth time and effort.
If I was given the good fortune of playing Field Hockey in college, I would cherish and respect that opertunity through my devotion to the sport. As a part of my full college experience, this opertunity would be shared with my coaches, teammates and family. This would truly be an opportunity of a lifetime. An opertunity that I could enjoy and reflect and appreciate throughout my entire life.
Thank you for reading Coaches and I really hope to hear from you!
Sincerley,
-Sophia Giangreco (#23)
