My collegiate goals and aspirations are to excel in both the classroom and on the baseball field. I am a good candidate for your baseball team because my work ethic is very high and I am willing to do whatever I have to in order to get to the next level. However, average isn't necessarily good enough for me, as I strive to be the best on every team I play for, whether it's school ball or travel ball. I feel I am very unique from other recruits because of me wanting to be the best on the baseball field in terms of not only skill, but sportsmanship as well. Also, my other athletic achievements make me stand out from the other recruits as well. This includes once being ranked 16th in the country for my age group at age 10 for swimming, and qualifying for and competing in Junior Olympics for swimming seven years straight, starting at age 7 and throughout age 13. During age 13, I started taking baseball a lot more serious. However, I still swim a little, but only to stay in good shape along with workouts that I do for baseball. In addition, I am also competing for a starting spot for quarterback on the freshman school team. Academically, I am unique because of my grades usually being higher than others, and getting recommended for all honors classes for my Freshman year of high school. These are my goals and what make me unique from other recruits.
