Catie Summers - 2...Personal Statement
I have been playing field hockey since I was eight years old, and from that moment I knew I wanted to play this sport for the rest of my life. Field Hockey has been my life for the past six years and I wouldn't have it any other way. Field hockey is very important to me. I spend countless hours training to learn new things and to become the best I can be. I am a very coachable athlete, I apply constructive criticism to my game playing because I want to become better and I can handle critiques. I am always supportive of my team, teammates, and coaches because I believe support is a necessary factor in a team's success. I have great field vision, and I use that to see open spaces on the field as well as anticipating the next play. Besides playing field hockey, I am a member of the varsity mock trial team and the freshman leadership council.
