Andrew Hadlock '23 Recruiting Profile

I wear many hats in my life: Son, brother, uncle, grandson, cousin, teammate, etc. and they all matter to me equally. I love my family more than anything but what gets me out of bed every day is sports. Competition fuels me so I play year-round.  From a very young age it has been my goal to play at the college level. Coming from the northeast where it's hard to play any one sport year-round I knew it was going to be hard to get on the college radar so I'm going to try and exhaust every option available.

As a freshmen at my local high school I made honor roll the entire year and was the only freshman to make the varsity baseball team and have a starting position (batting 4th). My game drew some attention and I was contacted by a local independent school to come and play for them, which I did while repeating my freshmen year.

If you were to talk to my coaches and my teammates I believe they would tell you that I step up and take a leadership role on any of my teams, that I'm a dedicated player, easily coached, and a supportive teammate to all. While I'm built like the catcher that I am, most coaches are surprised by my speed and impressed by my strength and game sense.

I'm a big kid from a small town asking for a chance to show you what I can bring to your team!!
