Field hockey is a very important aspect of my life because it allows me to grow closer to my coaches and teammates, stay in shape, and is a really fun sport to play. During my field hockey career I have learned numerous things about the game, skills, and techniques from attending multiple camps, clinics, and tournaments.
I have played field hockey ever since I was 6 years old. My goal is to be able to play on a college team and hopefully a team after college as well. Field hockey allows me to use my gifts and abilities on and off the field. Field hockey has helped me grow physically and mentally by teaching me how to cope with stress, get along with teammates, never give up, try my hardest, and to always play to the best to my abilities.
My field hockey career has been filled with ups and downs, but my teams and I are very close, so we are able to get through anything and everything together as one. We are always there for each other. Field hockey has taught me that you are only as strong as your weakest player. So, we all have to put in a team effort to make each other stronger and better, both mentally and physically. Overall, field hockey has had a major impact on my life, and has taught me numerous, valuable lessons that I will be able to take with me throughout my lifetime.
