Cory Giannelli '20 Recruiting Profile

I've played baseball ever since I was 6 and have loved the game from the first day.  

I have always had a need to improve my game and play as often as I can and when Vermont weather interferes, my parents helped me find a way to pitch and hit indoors year-round. I enjoy receiving coach's advice and feedback, and try to use everything a coach offers me.  I'm a multi-sport athlete, I play football in the fall, and baseball year-round.

I am always extremely dedicated to my academics, and will always put my academics on the top of my priority list.  Essex High School is a division 1 school, and of the seven years of history available online, I'm fortunate to be one of only three freshman that were selected for the Varsity Baseball team.

Being on the Varsity Baseball team and traveling with the Varsity Football team as a backup kicker I have been able develop my teamwork, leadership and drive needed to succeed at the Varsity and Collegiate levels.
