Personal Statement

Dear Coach,

My goal as a high school student is to primarily focus on my education to get into a prestigious college.  I have been taught all of my life that a good education leads to the most success.  Through my studies is where I feel the utmost confidence and drive to do whatever my heart desires in life.

Playing baseball at school is also another goal that I would like to accomplish.  I believe I have the ability and work ethic to accomplish this goal.  All of my life I have seen people before me achieve their dreams in whatever they chose and I feel that I am more than capable of following suit.  I have many qualities that would be appropriate and help the team as much as possible.  I am a team player and will do anything asked of me by a coach as quickly as possible.  I have a great work ethic and strive to do whatever is asked of me at the best of my ability and will not complain or argue what has been asked.  For example,  although my primary position is catcher, I have been asked to pinch run, play all infield positions (except first base), pitch, and outfield.  I believe I have a very high Baseball IQ and know what to do and when to do it pending circumstances.  I also have great physical qualities like a strong arm, proper technique,  being quick around the base-path, and great communication skills and contact at the plate.

A proper education and playing baseball are what I hold dearest to me in my future.  I believe that I am able to make any team anywhere and have the drive to beat anyone to it.  If you wish to contact me, you can contact me through my email and/or my parents' emails to make arrangements to talk with you.

Best regards,

Andrew Bokulich

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
