When I was four, I was introduced to one of the biggest learning experiences of my life, baseball. I always enjoyed watching my older brothers play, and I thought that the sport would be enjoyable. Throughout the years, I have gained a lot of life lessons from just a game that I love. I have learned social skills, my capabilities, and I have learned that teamwork is everything. Without baseball, I would have never been introduced to all the life lessons that I've learned throughout the years. As a freshman, this year marks the eleventh consistent year that I have played and much more to come. Baseball is one of the things that has a large influence on my life, while the most important thing in my life is school.
Schooling has been one of the "game changers in my life." Initially attending Southington, I always tried my best to be on the honors list. Most of the time I did achieve my goal, but there were a few times that I didn't, and I bounced right back to being on the list. As I grew older, I became active in many academic clubs. I joined the prep bowl team for Southington in sixth grade. After my seventh grade year, I transferred to John F. Kennedy High School. In my eighth grade year, I received an award marking my help throughout my school, and for always being there for people. Now, I am a member of student congress for the JFK Speech and Debate team. One of my goals is to receive an honors diploma in high school and graduate college majoring in law. Specifically, when I grow up, I would hope to become a forensic scientist.
