Hello Coaches!
My name is Joseph Gaeta. I am a Sophomore at Fayetteville-Manlius (FM) High School near Syracuse, New York. I will be graduating in 2020 and looking for a fantastic college where I can attain my academic goals and my goal to play college baseball.
I am 6’1” and weigh 180 pounds. I primarily play outfield and currently have a recorded position velocity of 78; exit velocity of 81; and my best 60-yard was 7.09. I hit and throw right. I also play middle infield and third base.
I train every day. I am currently working on strength, speed, agility, fielding and hitting with trainers who were former MLB players. I have set my goals to continuously improve my playing statistics, through proper training, practice, and nutrition.
I currently play for Sports Zone Baseball Academy in Syracuse, NY where I play outfield, with secondary positions being middle infield and 3rd base. As a freshman in high school, I made the Fayetteville-Manlius Junior Varsity Team where I played outfield, pitcher and middle infield.
For all coaches, I want you to know that I promise that I will bring a positive attitude and solid athleticism to your team! My strengths are: position velocity, arm strength, bat speed, running speed, positive attitude, and excellent training habits. I am a reliable, team player who has good work ethic on and off the field!
As a student, I recently made the High Honor Roll at FM High School! I am in the Advanced Placement Art Program at school. I am blessed with an excellent ability to sketch and hope to apply this talent to my career. I am active in both school and church, and volunteer as much as I can.
I am getting stronger and faster everyday! I'll be posting new videos and statistics near the end of January after I complete an indoor showcase at Sports Zone Academy in Syracuse, NY. Stay tuned as I will post updates as often as possible!
