Michael LeFevre '14 Recruiting Profile

I love baseball and want to play at the next level and represent my college. I love being on the field, competing, and being around my teammates. I hate to lose but I was taught to never express my disappointment on the field or in the dugout. I was taught to learn from my mistakes and move on. I never get tired of playing and I have NEVER missed a practice in any sport.  I am usually one of the 1st to arrive and one of the last to leave the field. My primary positions are 3rd and 1st. I'm considered a power hitter and typically bat 4th.

In high school, I am enrolled in college prep/Honors classes and will earn college credits by graduation.  I don't know what I want to major in yet but I have considered law, business, and biology. I currently have a 91 average and ranked in the top 25% of my class of 893. I attend a pretty big high school so I'm not intimidated by large universities but I also really like the feel of smaller colleges.

I'm an only child and my parents are supportive of me. My teammates are my brothers. I try to keep my teammates loose, but focused, because we seem to play best that way. When I'm on the field I'm serious about winning but after a big win I'm also the player likely to pick up the water cooler to dump over my coach's head. I've been told by my coaches that I'm a team leader and was named Captain of my travel team a few years ago but honestly I'm just enjoying the game I love.
