Personal Statement

My name is Spencer Janowicz Andrzejewski.  I am a Freshman at Brighton High School in the 2017-2018 school year.  I am a strong student and a strong baseball player, and my goal is to work hard at both of those things in high school and in college.  Grades are important to me.  The subjects I enjoy the most are science and math; in high school, I plan to challenge myself with a college prep curriculum having an emphasis in these two areas.  Baseball is my passion, and I train year-round to be fit and strong, and to improve every aspect of my game with the ultimate goal of playing and contributing at the most competitive levels of both travel and high school ball.  My coaches, my teachers and my parents have described me as being a leader, a good role model and having a strong work ethic.  I love to compete.  I'm intense on the field, but manage my emotions well and channel them into positive energy for my team.  Thank you for viewing my profile and for your interest.  I wish you all the best in building a strong and successful program.

  • 4 seasons
  • 2018 Michigan Blue Jays (Major)
  • 2017 Legacy Select Elite 13U (Major)
  • My Legacy Select Elite 13U team's season, a first-year team with a first-year coach, was one of mixed success. Our team struggled for wins the first half of the season, but our winning percentage improved greatly in the second half as we began to know each other better and work together more closely as team. In all, we only won two tournaments of 12 played, but as a team, we felt good about our improved performance as the season progressed. INDIVIDUAL STATS - In addition to the stats loaded into my NCSA profile, here are a few other highlights of my 2017 season: (Batting) OPS = 1.291; BA/RISP = .387; QAB% = 55.66%; (Pitching) WHIP = 1.378; S% = 59.7%; BAA = .204.
