My name is Robert Spencer and I am a junior at Brighton High School in Brighton, Michigan. As a sophomore, I earned the starting short stop position on the Varsity team. Last year my team accomplished winning Conference, League, District, and Regional championships at the Class A level. This year we accomplished league and conference titles being ranked as high as 2nd in the state.
Michigan College Connect ranks me in the top 50 players in the 2014 class in the state of Michigan. This season I accomplished All-Conference honors. I am an above average infielder with quick reactions and sure hands; I make very few errors and I have a strong arm. I bat 2nd in the lineup because I can drive the ball to all fields; I stay inside the baseball and have great balance at the plate. My baseball knowledge and instincts are superior at the plate and in the field.
I am willing to do whatever it takes to win and I have a great work ethic when it comes to the game of baseball. I am looking for a school with a strong baseball program and academics. I am looking for colleges within Michigan or surrounding states where I believe I can be competitive at the highest level.
