Roger Heine '20 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6'0 175lbs sophmore at Plainfield North High School in Plainfield, IL. I am currently a two-sport athlete looking to play at the next level. I am a member of the class 2020, and I have a 3.9 GPA currently.

My initial goal is to play college athletics, while pursuing a quality education. I am confident in my abilities as a play maker, leader, and student of the game. I aspire to maximize my potential and want to push myself in every way possible. I understand I have a lot to learn. Athletically, I believe I have a lot of the skill sets coaches are looking for, but I believe my potential still has a lot of room for growth. I am very coachable and aggressive. I am determined to be the best I can be on and off the playing field.

I was named to the Perfect Game WWBA 2020 class all-tournament team in Lakepoint, GA in 2016 & 2017 and played for the Naperville Renegades who were ranked #1 in the state (IL); #4 in the Midwest & #68 in the country by Perfect Game in 2016 and had a 39-8-1 record in 2017.  I was a team captain and starting quarterback and kicker for the Plainfield Prowlers which finished as the runner-up in the UYFL National Championships in 2015 (Plant City, FL).  I was the starting QB for the sophmore football team and also kicked for varsity in 2017.  In 2016 I was selected captain of the freshman football team, leading the team to a 9-0 conference record and was brought up to varsity as the kicker through the state playoff run in 2016.
