Personal Statement

My long term career goal is to become an MLB player. I have received numerous character recognition awards in middle school and youth football. I have received numerous MVP awards in Baseball, Football, Basketball Track, and Soccer over my career. Most recently, I placed 3rd in State of Illinois in Long Jump competition with a 20' 07" at IESA Track and Field Finals. Most importantly, I have always made high honor roll at school and my cumulative GPA is 3.75 / 4.0. I work extremely hard at Baseball and Football in the offseason with various private lessons to develop and sharpen my skills, footwork, strength and conditioning. God has blessed me with exceptional speed, hand / eye coordination, and athleticism.  I have always been a top player on all of my teams, regardless of sport. I am an extremely hard working person and doubt that anyone will put in more hours at skills development than myself. As such, I lead by example to make my teammates better. I always encourage my teammates to also partake in private lessons to improve upon their skills and abilities.

Events

  • Camp/Event
  • Missouri
  • Awesome 2 day camp; All around camp, coaching interaction, orientation on recruiting process, Swing analysis with coaches, fun games, really hit the ball well here. Love the coaching staff, campus, SEC, and atmosphere, will new staff win??? Already 12-1 WOW!!
  • Camp/Event
  • Notre Dame
  • Awesome 1 day event. Really stood out at Short. First attempt at hitting HitMatrix machine, Coach said I hit a couple of Dingers to dead center, coach said I made amazing diving grab at line drive and doubled up on runner at 1B
  • Camp/Event
  • Virginia
  • Awesome 2 Day camp, very well organized, won def line drive contest with starting 3b, hitting really stood out. Hitting coach (McMullan) spent 10 minutes with me off the tee, Really liked the campus and quick inexpensive flight to VA. Great camp, really liked the coaches.
  • Camp/Event
  • TCU
  • Awesome; 2 day event. Lots of kids from Texas. Those area kids knew the coaches and were aggressive defensively. Was nt staying back and hit 10 RGB up the middle, 3 for inf hits, 4 stolen bases. I like the 2 inning games with 5 outs and 10v10. Lots of action in multiple positions. Need to stand out better, not sure TCU conveniently located however. A+ coaching staff. How much playing time??
  • Camp/Event
  • University of Illinois
  • 1 day event; made great contacts with SIU and EIU coaches. Really like Coach Hudson of U of I, I stood out defensively especially receiving balls from Catchers with sub 2 pops. Scooped 10 out of 10 short hops. Went to warning track 3 times on deep pop ups, not hit squarely, 3 SS commits.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
