Sean Bouchard '14 Recruiting Profile

My name is Sean Bouchard and I attend and play baseball for Cathedral Catholic High School in San Diego, California.  I am entering my Junior year and will graduate in 2014. I am currently 6'2" and weigh 180lbs. I have been playing club baseball for the San Diego SHOW for the past 4 years. While with the SHOW I have played the infield at SS and have also recently played 3rd base. I started playing for the Boston Red Sox Socal Scout team last fall and will continue again in the fall of 2012. Last fall I attended Speed and Agility training at The Gonzales Sports Academy(GSA) in Chula Vista, CA headed by Edgar and Adrian Gonzalez. In the past few years I have played in several showcase tournaments for both Perfect Game and USA baseball. I recently attended prospect camps at UCLA and the Stanford Future Stars Camp at Stanford University. I played in Perfect Games WWBA Tournament in East Cobb, Georgia in July, 2012 and will also attend the 2012 PG National Games at UCSD in San Diego, California on 8/13/12-8/14/12.  Academically I have always been strong sustaining a gpa between 3.8-4.1 and will take 2 honors classes and one AP class during my Junior year.  My grandfather played baseball at the University of Oregon and was my mentor while growing up. It has always been my dream and goal to play and contibute in baseball at the post high school level. I know I can compete at the next level and look forward to fulfilling my dreams.
