Ryan Ellena '14 Recruiting Profile

My biggest dream that I've had since I was little, is to pitch in the MLB.I started pitching when I was 7 years old and I've loved it ever since.  I love pitching because I'm the one that is in control out on the field, no matter what, I am the one that can control the outcome.  Pitching also lets me release some stress and anger while throwing, I feel at home when I'm on the rubber.  Throughout my high school years,  I've gained interests in both chemistry and athletic training.  I want to major in one or the other, that way incase my baseball career doesn't turn out how I want it to, then I can become an athletic trainer or chemist.  I'd like to become an athletic trainer because I'm still on the field, at the practices, and still at the games; just helping the athletes instead of playing.
