This was my first year wrestling during my freshman year. I was told to do wrestling since 7th grade, but I did not thin I would like it. During football season I was in a game, and unfortunately broke my hand right before the wrestling season started. I was unable to wrestle, but I still wanted to be the best I could so everyday I would drill with my coaches because I didn't want to hurt my teammate with a cast on, and I watched to soak up all the information I could while I was hurt. When I was finally able to wrestle I immediately fell in love with sport, and dedicated all my time to it. I had a really good freshman year finishing with a positive record, and getting 5th place at our state meet.
