Personal Statement

My goal is to wrestle in college while still pursuing academic excellence to the fullest extent possible. While attending a university I would strive to be both the best wrestler and student possible. My plan is to someday become a physician. I believe I have the character, mental toughness, and talent to wrestle collegiately. I have wrestled and played football for 12 straight years. I am a reigning WPIAL Champion (PIAA District 7) and I ended the season ranked #10 in the state in AA by Off the Mat with 8 of the kids above me having graduated. (Both at 195 lbs) I am currently #2 in my class out of over 150 students. If someone were to give me the opportunity to wrestle in college I would promise them my complete and total dedication in the classroom and on the mat.
