I think I would be a great addition to your team because it is my goal to become the best wrestler and student I can be. I am currently a Junior and I have made many improvements on the mat as well as in the classroom. As a freshman I had a record of 22-9, then as a Sophmore I had a record of 32-8 and placed 6th at my state qualifier. This year I had a record 35-7 and placed 4th at my state qualifier. I have improved my grade point average each year and currently as a Junior I have the highest average of my high school career while taking challenging classes. I plan to keep improving my grades through the end of this year and next year.
It has been a goal of mine since I started wrestling varsity in 9th grade to become a college wrestler. I now realize through hard work in school and in the wrestling room I can make this happen. Over the last few years, I have been wrestling in the off season with Finger Lakes Wrestling Club at Cornell University. Every year I have been wrestling more in the off season and seeking out the toughest competition in off season tournaments. This off season I plan on wrestling in many big tournaments and I plan on wrestling more freestyle and greco to help me become a better wrestler. I believe in working hard to achieve my goals and doing everything to the best of my ability.
