Personal Statement

I am a 5'10, 190 lb. Varsity Wrestler from Fanwood, NJ.  Although last year was my first year wrestling, I surpassed all expectations and placed in both regional and county tournaments.  Through most of the season, I wrestled up to the 220 weight class, where I gained a great deal of experience and skill.  I am a three-season athlete who has lettered in football, javelin and wrestling.  I find wrestling to be the most physically challenging and rewarding sport and hope to compete at the next level.

My field of interest is Communications/ Broadcast Journalism/TV Production.  I am currently the technical producer of our school television/news program and want to pursue a career working behind the scenes on a newscast crew or filming sports.

I am a dedicated team player and take pride in working hard for the common goal, success.  I like to challenge myself, both physically and mentally and believe I would be an asset to any team at the right school.  I look forward to graduating college with a degree and many experiences that will carry me on into the next step of my life.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
