Not too many people can endure the sport that is wrestling. Both its, physical and mental demand is what I have fallen in love with. I look to continue my passion in college because after high school, there is not much window of opportunity as a wrestler to continue his or her venture in the sport besides pursuing a collegiate career; or either a freestyle or Greco-Roman professional career. I am self-driven but also team oriented. I have been a team captain for my high school team since my sophomore year due to our young core. I see my leadership disposition and diligence along my Hawaiian values: aloha, loving; malama, caring; and ‘ike na’auao, searching for knowledge; being great attributes both in the classroom and on the mat. I look to pursue a degree in business administration along with a successful wrestling career in hopes that both will ready me to become a better citizen contributing positively to the world.
