Aloha,
My name is Mahealani Perkins. I am currently in the ninth grade at Mid Pacific Institute in Honolulu, Hawaii. I have been playing softball for about 11 years. My travel club is the Hawaii Demarini Titans. We recently traveled to the Champions Cup in Irvine, CA where we had the opportunity to be exposed to college coaches. I also then traveled by invitation to Washington where I participated in the Fastpitch Northwest tournament hosted by Ken Olsen. My primary position is Centerfield with my secondary position being 2nd base/short stop but I am a utility player.
My goal is to play softball at the next level. With college tuition costing soo much, I feel that this is a way that I can get a higher education without my parents having to pay all the money. I am a hard worker and try my best with everything I do. I am working hard in highschool to achieve academic success as I understand that hard work and dedication is what it takes to succeed. I feel that anything I can do, with the help of my parents, to reach my goal of playing softball at the next level and to continue my education in college. I look forward to being in contact with you in the future.
Mahalo,
Mahealani Perkins
