I believe that determination is a foundational component of success in all aspects of life. Perseverance in the face of difficulty is what allows me to achieve success both on the mat and in the classroom. I always strive to be the best at all that I do. I set my goals high for both athletics and academics and I give 100 percent effort to make those goals a reality. In addition, I recognize the influential role that academics play. I understand the importance of unifying athletic accomplishments with a stellar level of academic achievement. Just as I do with all things, I hold myself to a very high academic standard. I am on pace to graduate with an approximate 4.6 GPA and I am currently in the top 10 percent of my class. Knowing that academics is the foundation of my future, it is only part of what I want to pursue in college. I have a passion for wrestling and I have committed myself to the sport. I know that with high aspirations comes a high level of work to achieve them. My unwavering will to succeed fuels me to put in whatever work is necessary. I always push myself the extra mile because I know that everything extra, no matter how small, is what leads to success when it counts.
